Temporarily staying the wooden chalet
In some situations, it’s possible to temporarily stay on the land in a more connected way.
This may include staying in the wooden house for a period of time as part of supporting the project.
These stays are not rentals, but are based on contribution and always on request.
It’s a simple and peaceful way of being here, more connected to the land, the rhythm of nature and the project itself.
If this resonates, you can get in touch with us and we’ll look at it together.

This is not a traditional campsite or commercial holiday park.
At Finca Almalibra, people come for space, quiet, nature and a different rhythm of life.
You choose a place on the land, surrounded by olive trees and open views, with room to breathe and slow down.
Whether you come with a van, camper or caravan, or you feel drawn to a more connected temporary stay, this place is about freedom, simplicity and being closer to nature.
For some, it’s a short stop during a longer journey. For others, it becomes a place to rest, reconnect and stay a little longer.
Where we are
Finca Almalibra is located at the foot of the Els Ports Natural Park,
near Tortosa in southern Catalonia.
The land is surrounded by mountains, olive groves and quiet paths.
From here, you can go hiking directly from the land,
cycle along the Via Verde,
or ride up into the Els Ports mountains — a well-known area for cyclists.
In the wider region, there are many outdoor possibilities,
such as canyoning, via ferrata and kayaking.
On request, it’s also possible to organize a guided hike tailored to your interests.
These are arranged privately and discussed case by case.
The sea is about 30 minutes away,
with rocky coves for snorkeling,
and the Ebro area, known for wind and water sports.
The region also attracts people who enjoy flying small aircraft,
with local airfields nearby.
All of this is optional.
Some people explore a lot,
others simply stay on the land and rest.
